What are secondary applications for dental school?
Most dental schools have an additional application that they supply to perspective students after the AADSAS application has been reviewed. Many schools make a first cut based on a minimum GPA, DAT score, combination or overall application. For students they are considering interviewing, a supplemental or secondary application will be requested. These applications are different for each school and are usually very basic asking you to verify certain information and perhaps requesting you to answer a few short answer or short essay questions related to why you are interested in dentistry, why that particular school, or experiences you have had. A request for a secondary application by a dental school from you usually, but not always, indicates you will receive an interview.
How do I get a secondary application?
Dental schools will notify you via email or mail with secondary application information if the school has one and if they would like you to complete it.
What are supplemental materials for my dental school appilication?
In addtion to your AADSAS application and sometimes a secondary application, most schools request additional materials including an applicaiton fee sent directly to the school (seperate from the fee you paid for your AADSAS application), additional transcripts sent directly to the school, a photograph, a letter of evaluation or other information. Supplemental matierials vary by school

This page lists each school, the supplemental materials requested, the application fee, when to send the materials and where to send them. Some schools want supplemental materials to be submitted at the same time you submit your AADSAS appliction, while others want you to send the materials only after they contact you to do so.
